Event description
The Metro South GP Maternity Shared Care Team are hosting an Alignment 1 (AM1) practical education seminar on Saturday May 25th 08.00 – 16.00. This session is tailored for practitioners that provide maternity care to families within Logan, Beaudesert, and Redland catchments. This education day will have presentations from Obstetricians, Midwives, and Allied Health professionals.

The event will focus on:
- Antenatal Referrals – Pathways and essential components
- Available Models of Care available in Metro South
- Complexities of pregnancy prevalent in the Brisbane South Region
- Current recommendations for first trimester screening
- Up to date evidence-based education on pregnancy care
- Routine Postnatal Care
