Sue Scheinpflug - Chief Executive Officer

Sue Scheinpflug has recently been appointed Chief Executive Officer for Brisbane South PHN.  Sue is a 2009 Telstra Queensland Business Woman of the Year award winner and has a background in senior executive roles in the health-related and community services sectors.  Most recently, Sue was Chief Executive Officer of the former West Moreton-Oxley Medicare Local and before that CEO of the Australian Centre for Post-Traumatic Mental Health.

Michael Hipwood Chief Financial Officer; General Manager - Corporate Service

Michael has extensive experience as a Company Director, General Manager Finance and Chief Financial Officer.  Prior to joining Brisbane South PHN, Michael was Chief Financial Officer with Boeing Australia Holdings.  Michael’s senior management experience also includes being General Manager Finance and Company Secretary with mining and logistics software company Mincom.  Prior to this Michael was Chief Financial Officer with LinkWater, the Queensland Government’s entity responsible for the construction and operation of the South East Queensland water pipeline grid.  Michael was also Corporate Accounting, Treasurer and Tax Manager for the Brisbane Airport Corporation.  Michael is a CPA, Chartered Secretary, Chartered Tax Advisor, Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Associate Member of the Australian Human Resources Institute and holds an MBA from Deakin University.

Tonia de Bruin - General Manager Knowledge, Planning and Performance

Prior to joining Brisbane South PHN, Tonia de Bruin, was a Director of Health Service Planning in Queensland Health where she was responsible for strategic health service planning and providing advice to the Director General and the State Minister for Health.  At Queensland Health Tonia instigated the development of a geographic needs index providing a transparent means for identifying geographic areas in Queensland with high health service needs within specific life stages. Tonia has a Masters in Information Technology, a Masters in Health Service Management and a PhD in Information Systems from QUT.

Sharon Sweeney - General Manager Primary Health

Sharon Sweeney has worked as a senior level consultant to primary health networks, was the General Manager Primary Health Care and Service Integration at the former West Moreton-Oxley Medicare Local. Prior to this Sharon was a management consultant and Manager/Director of the Statewide Health Service Planning Unit for Queensland Health.  Sharon has a Masters in Health Services Management from Griffith University and a Masters of Population Health from the National Centre for Epidemiology and Population Health at the Australian National University.

Lucille Chalmers - General Manager Commissioned Programs

Lucille Chalmers is an experienced senior health and human services executive with a special focus on community health and primary healthcare.  Lucille was formerly the Community Business Optimisation Lead at Uniting Care Queensland and a Health and Human Services Management Consultant at Ernst & Young.  Lucille has previously held senior positions in Diabetes Queensland. Lucille has a Bachelor of Applied Science, Speech Pathology from Latrobe University, a Masters of Public Health from Monash University and a Graduate Certificate in Business – Philanthropy and Non Profit Studies from QUT.

Louise Litchfield - General Manager Stakeholder Engagement and Communications

Louise Litchfield has more than twenty-five years in senior positions specialising in communications and stakeholder relations. Prior to joining Brisbane South PHN, Louise was the Executive Director Strategic Engagement and Protocol for the Queensland Department of Premier and Cabinet and the Executive Director, Communications and Media for the Queensland Department of State Development. Louise holds a Bachelor of Business Communication and a Graduate Certificate in Legal Studies from QUT.
